Reading Challenge

Rules:

Any books read during this time may be recorded

towards summer reading!

Books must be age appropriate and finished in order to be counted.

Audio books, ebooks, and physical print books all count. For younger children being read to counts.

All paper log sheets must be turned into the library by August 7th to be considered for prizes. They may be left in the drop box or given to staff at the desk.

Youth Goals:

Early Lit (0-5)

20 books = 2 tickets

Every 5 additional books = 1 ticket

Youth (6-12)

20 books OR 1,000 pages = 2 tickets

Every 2 additional books = 1 ticket

Every 300 pages = 1 ticket

Teen/Adult Goals:

Teen (13-17)

20 books OR 1,000 pages = 2 tickets

Every 2 additional books = 1 ticket

Every 300 pages = 1 ticket

Adult (18+)

20 books OR 1,000 pages = 2 tickets

Every 2 additional books = 1 ticket

Every 300 pages = 1 ticket

Online Option: Once again this year we will also be using the app/website “ReaderZone“. If you choose to use ReaderZone you will not have to keep a paper copy of your reading list.¬† You can download the app to your phone or tablet or visit the website, readerzone.com, register or login and us our code for summer reading: 1a628. Once you have used our code you can choose what categorgy you would like to use, your age group and books or pages.¬† If you need help please call or stop by the library.

Movies in the Park

Movies will start at sundown.

Approximate times are listed with the movie.

June 18:Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl”, 9 pm

July 16: “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” 9 pm

August 13:Luca”; 8:30 pm This night we will also announce our

summer reading winners before the movie starting at 8 pm
